Buffalo, NY - Penn State Beaver controlled the afternoon at the Flickinger Center, pulling away for a 76–47 win over Kent St.-Tuscarawas on March 5. Beaver set the tone early with active hands and steady pace, turning stops into quick offense and building a working margin without needing a single huge run. The opening quarter ended with Beaver in front 23–17, a start that reflected both their balance and their ability to create extra chances on the glass.
The second quarter tightened up as both teams traded empty possessions and the game slowed into more half-court basketball. Beaver still won the period 15–13 by staying organized, sharing the ball, and defending without fouling, which kept Tuscarawas from finding any rhythm. Bailey Rieg powered the scoring with 25 points on 10-of-17 shooting and 5-of-9 from three, and Ny'Ashia Barnes added 14 points while dishing 4 assists. Cashimere Ralph provided a strong all-around lift off the bench with 8 points and 7 rebounds, and Caitlyn O'Hara filled the stat sheet with 9 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 blocks.
