Girl's Basketball Camp has record attendance!
40 local girl's ages 8-14 got to learn skills from Coach Moore this week.
Girl's Basketball Camp wraped up this afternoon after having the most campers this camp has ever seen under Coach Moore.
During the week, campers learned the fundamentals of the game from Coach Moore, Head Women's Basketball Coach here at Penn State Beaver. Assisting Coach Moore were one of his staff assistants as well as players from local college programs including one of our men's players here on campus.
The girl's worked on their skills by completing drills in stations, competing in games and drills and even had the chance to play against each other. At the end of the camp, Coach Moore presented seveal lucky campers with NCAA and WNBA awards for their outstanding efforts this week. Awards included best defensive player, best foul shot shooter, best team player and even a player of the week.
