McKeesport, PA---- Penn State Beaver traveled to PSU Greater Allegheny and finished off their 2012-2013 PSUAC regular season with a win, 68-61. The game was tied up at the half and Beaver was able to pull away in the second half to claim the victory.
Beaver was led offensively by Amanda Temple (Avella, Avella) who finished with a game-high 23 points and also collected 6 rebounds. Hayden Kimbrough (Rochester, Rochester) added 21 points and 7 rebounds and senior Brittany Tomaselli (East Liverpool, East Liverpool) scored 9 points to go along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists for Beaver in the win.
Beaver improves to 16-6 overall and finishes 11-3 in the PSUAC regular season. The Lady Lions will play again Friday when they travel to Carlow University to play at 7pm and they will play their last game of the regular season when they host Pitt-Titusville on Saturday with tip-off at 1pm at the Beaver Fieldhouse.
