Monaca, PA- Penn State Beaver Lady Lions fought a home game against Penn State Schuylkill at home April 18, 2025. Both games would see the team fall short of victory. Game 1 the Lady Lions wouldn't be able to score against Schuylkill, losing 15 naught. Game 2 would see them put up more of a fight against the opposing team. Third inning, Fourth-year Mackenzie Boyd (Beaver, PA) would make an impressive home run, followed by a score by Third-year Selene Arteaga (Simi Valley, CA), First-year Reza Benson (Sunbury, OH), and Second-year Kierstyn Mays (Sterling, IL). After this inning, Schuylkill was able to retake their lead and win the second game, 10-4.
Game 1- This game would see Second-year Kierstyn Mays (Sterling, IL) being at base 3 times, and hitting once. Following her, Fourth-year Mackenzie Boyd (Beaver, PA) and First-year Reza Benson (Sunbury, OH), both being up at base 4 times, hitting once, and making 1 run while on the field. At pitch, Fourth-year Gabbey Flynt (Fayetteville, TN) with 3 strikeouts, 10 runs, and 2 earned runs.
