Coach Bibey, of Moon Township, will be entering into his fourth season as the Head Men's Basketball Coach. Continuing to grow the program in the 2017-18 season, finishing with an overall record of 9-16 (3 more wins than the previous season) and 6-10 in the PSUAC (1 more win than the previous season), he and his staff have been recruiting nationwide as they continue to build their program. With players coming in from both local high schools and from as far away as California, the men's program looks to return to the PSUAC post season in 2018-19 after falling short the past three seasons. Bibey now holds a career record of 24-47 overall and 18-30 in the PSUAC.
Despite not qualifying for the post season, the team celebrated individual accolades as one player was named USCAA Academic All-American and six players were named to the PSUAC All-Academic Team.
Bringing over 10 years of coaching experience, Bibey was most recently the Head Coach at Shaler High School where he coached 3 All-Section players. Prior to the high school ranks, he spent three years as an Assistant at the NCAA Division III level with both Washington and Jefferson College and Mount Union College as well as one year in the NAIA with Saint Vincent College. Bibey also has experience at the junior college level as both a coach and athletic director, spending six years at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville.
Brian is a 1998 graduate of Carlynton High School and a 2002 graduate of Robert Morris University.
