Monaca, PA - Penn State Beaver defended its home floor Tuesday night at the Beaver Fieldhouse, pulling away for a 62–47 win over Penn State New Kensington. The game was competitive early, with both teams trading baskets and Beaver leaning on perimeter shot-making to build momentum. By halftime, Beaver had created separation and carried a 39–30 lead into the break, setting the tone for a second half that stayed under its control.
After intermission, Beaver continued to dictate pace and spacing, extending the margin with balanced scoring and cleaner execution. Jermaine Knaff and Joe Pinto led the way with 16 points apiece, combining to hit eight three-pointers, while Ny'zir Dix added 10 points and a team-high five assists to keep the offense organized.
