Beaver loses to Penn State Mont Alto

Mont Alto, PA- The Penn State Beaver Nittany Lions lose to Mont Alto bringing their conference record to 8-3.

The first half started off looking good for Beaver but they lost their edge early on with Mont Alto taking the lead and keeping it throughout the half. Beaver attempted to surpass Mont Alto and did at the 11:40 mark but immediately lost the lead again and would trail for the rest of the half. Beaver would lose the half 44-50.

In the second half, Mont Alto would distance themselves from Beaver and keep their lead large. Beaver could build up any momentum to close in on Mont Alto and lost 99-107. Beaver's offense was led by Nick Miller (Beaver Falls, PA / Beaver Falls) who had 31 points and Rob Agurs (Pittsburgh, PA / Penn Hills) who had 28.

Beaver will take the court again on February 5th, when they wil face Penn State Fayette on Spirit Night for an 8:00 p.m. tip-ff.
