Nick Miller Named PSUAC and USCAA Player of the Week
Scoring his 1000th point, Miller, is named PSUAC Player of the Week and USCAA Co-Player of the Week
In a 4-0 week for the Lions, junior Nick Miller (Beaver Falls, PA/Beaver Falls) had a total of 84 points, 15 rebounds, 23 assists, 11 steals, recorded his first double-double and surpassed the 1,000 point mark for his career. Facing Mont Alto on the 19th, Miller put up a career high 33 points including eight 3-pointers. Miller and the Lions remain perfect in the PSUAC and they look to continue their streak on Saturday when they take on Penn State York at 3pm here at the Beaver Fieldhouse.
When asked what hitting this benchmark in his career means to him, Nick says, "It means alot. I never really accomplished any goals like this before and I have never really had the opportunity to do so like I have here". He also went on to say that he has to thank Coach Williams for letting him be himself on the court and play his game.
