Lions break losing streak with win over Scranton

Scranton, PA - The Penn State Beaver men's basketball ended its losing streak after it cruised past Penn State Scranton on Friday.
Senior Billy Stoughton (Slippery Rock/Slippery Rock, PA) and freshman Quentin Burton (Ambridge/Aliquippa, PA) led Beaver with 12 points each, and freshman Nick Miller (Beaver Falls/Beaver Falls, PA) added nine to lead the team to an 80-57 victory.
With the win, the team is now 5-6 overall and 5-0 in the PSUAC. Next, the team travels to Thiel College (Greenville, PA) on Monday, Jan. 17. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
