Dubois, PA -- Beaver suffers conference loss at Dubois, 3-1.

Looking to keep their second extended win streak alive this season, Beaver traveled to Dubois for a PSUAC match-up.  The Lady Lions started slow in the first set, struggling on their serving, making nine errors as a team from the service line in the set.  Their poor serving cost them the set by a score of 25-19.

In the second set the team minimized their serving errors, but struggled passing and establishing any offense, managing only seven kills in the set.

Looking to turn things around in the third set, led by Jenna Petrucci, the ladies started to come alive and took the set narrowly, 25-23.  But they struggled again in their fourth set as the offense and scrappy defense of Dubois would not give up a win on their home court, handing Beaver a 25-10 loss in the set.

Leading the team in kills on the night was senior, Jenna Petrucci who had 13.  Jenna also served well, dishing out 3 aces tonight.  Ryanne "Roxy" Kie had 21 assists as Imani Hargove had solo blocks on the evening.

Beaver is now 9-3 in the conference and prepares to face both Penn State New Kensington and Penn State Greater Allegheny this weekend in two crucial PSUAC games.
