York, PA -- Men's Soccer Loses to York

The Lions returned to the road this weekend for their final two matches of the regular season. They faced off against Penn State York Saturday in a PSUAC matchup, losing 2-1.
 
The first half of the match showed Beaver struggling to push the ball toward their opponent's net. York scored the first goal of the game 13 minutes into the match, pushing Beaver's defensive intensity. York scored again 29 minutes into the half, pushing the score to 2-0.
 
In the second half, both teams gained possession of the ball, showing attempts to gain a lead in the match. Beaver made their only goal of the game in this half, with an unassisted goal by junior Alex Rectenwald. Despite their attempts, Beaver was not able to even the game. York won the match 2-1. They are currently 4-4 in the PSUAC conference.
 
Beaver will complete their regular season schedule Sunday as they face off against Penn State Mont Alto in their final PSUAC conference match of the season.
