Beaver Struggles with CCBC Dundalk

Myrtle Beach, SC -- Beaver struggled with CCBC Dundalk in their first game of the day.  

The pitching for Beaver had a tough time keeping CCBC Dundalk off the base paths in this mornings game, giving up 10 runs in the first three innings.

Beaver finally got on the board in the fourth inning on a pair of singles and a pair of errors from Dundalk.  Ty Cole and Justyn Francona both scored after reaching base on a single and a walk respectively.  Mitch Lazzaretti also scored in the inning after a single in his at bat.  

CCBC Dundalk would add four more runs in the bottom of the inning to take a comanding 16-3 lead before a scoreless fifth.  Due to the mercy rule, the game ended with the final score at 16-3 in the fifth inning.

The loss puts Beaver at 0-3 as they head into their second game of the day against Ancilla College at 12:30 p.m.
